The weekend is a three day experience beginning on a Friday at 5:00 p.m. and ending Sunday at 6:00 p.m. During the weekend, a team of Christian teens, adults and Clergy will give talks on various Christian topics. Our goal is not only to feed them physically, but also to provide them with spiritual food. Commitment to the weekend means you will be present from the start of the weekend to the finish. Do not plan to leave at any time throughout the weekend.
No program would be complete without entertainment and fun. Y.E.S. weekends are interspersed with music, singing, and skits. Pilgrims may enjoy these by watching or participating.
The Y.E.S. program is not a substitute for church nor does it try to influence anyone towards any particular doctrine. Y.E.S. encourages each participant to maintain a very strong home church relationship and once through the weekend, to return and act as a team member on a future weekend sharing their experiences.
The weekend is funded by a $10.00 non-refundable registration fee. This required fee covers the very minimum operation costs. An additional $30.00 is asked for to help cover the actual expenses of the weekend. Being that no one within the Y.E.S. organization earns any type of salary or stipend, a youth will never be refused acceptance because of the lack of funds. The registration fee should be sent with the application. The additional $30.00 may be sent at the same time or paid upon the Friday arrival to the weekend. Contributions to Y.E.S. can be made at any time.
